Children's Ministry

PURPOSE: The purpose of our ministry to children is to care for, instruct, and encourage them in their Christian faith and to assist parents in nurturing their children to glorify and enjoy God forever. We seek to engage the heads, hearts, and hands of our children with the Gospel message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE DO ON SUNDAYS: We provide childcare for our infants through 2-year-olds and Sunday school for 3-year-olds through 4th graders. (For information about Middle School and High School see our "Youth and Family Ministry" page.)
Prior to the Service (8:45-9:45am): 2nd-4th Graders (room #123) meet to read a Bible story, memorize a section of Scripture, and pray together. They meet early to enable them to participate in the entirety of the worship service afterwards.
During the Service (10:00-11:30am):

For Visitors: When you arrive, visit our children's ministry table located to the right just after you walk in. We have helpful volunteers who can answer your questions, help you sign your child in for a class, and point you in the right direction. All of our teachers and volunteers have passed background checks prior to serving with children.
CURRICULUM: We are currently using The Gospel Story Bible by Marty Machowski to guide our curriculum for 3 yr olds through 4th grade (see a sample of a story). Those classes are also memorizing the fruit of the Spirit this semester (see our memorization schedule).
